Job Summary

As a Rotary Grind Operator at Mold Masters in Georgetown you will be responsible for setting up and operating rotary grinders to produce high-precision components. Your expertise will ensure that all workpieces meet strict dimensional and quality standards supporting our commitment to excellence in manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate rotary grinding machinery based on process sheets and blueprints.
Verify dimensions and specifications using gauges micrometers and indicators.
Mount and dress grinding wheels to ensure optimal performance.
Conduct in-process and final quality checks to maintain product standards.
Use hand tools and overhead hoists as needed for efficient operations.
Secure components with magnetic chucks or jigs for precise grinding.
Adjust machine controls for speed feed rate and wheel angle to meet specifications.
Perform minor preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
Conduct water pressure tests on manifolds to ensure compliance with blueprints and standards.
Follow ISO guidelines Job Instruction Sheets and Tag Procedures to ensure safety and quality.
Collaborate with team members provide training to apprentices and suggest process improvements.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of relevant experience or training in grinding operations.

Preferred Skills:

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints safety policies and procedural manuals.
Problem-solving skills involving multiple variables in standardized situations.
