Champion Physical Therapy is seeking a meticulous and motivated Quality Documentation Specialist to support our mission of delivering individualized high-quality care in North Georgia. This role plays a key part in maintaining the accuracy consistency and compliance of all clinical documentation across our outpatient clinics.
Ensure all clinical documentation such as patient treatment records progress notes and internal forms is complete accurate and aligned with best practices.
Manage and maintain documentation control systems including file organization archiving version tracking and timely updates of templates and forms.
Collaborate closely with therapists and clinic staff to verify documentation meets quality standards and address any discrepancies.
Support routine audits and quality reviews identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
Monitor adherence to internal policies and healthcare standards proactively resolving documentation issues or escalating them when needed.
Assist in developing or refining documentation guidelines and training materials to enhance consistency and compliance.
Act as a liaison between clinical teams and administrative or compliance departments to streamline documentation workflows.
Demonstrated attention to detail organizational ability and strong written communication skills.
Proficiency in standard office tools (e.g. Microsoft Office); experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment.
Experience or familiarity with healthcare compliance record-keeping or quality assurance procedures is highly valued.
