Summary:

• Applies quality principles across design incoming materials production control product evaluation program performance reliability inventory control and research and development.

• Ensures product and process quality for both make and buy products.

• Performs technical evaluations of product requirements specifications models/designs drawings and procedures.

• Collaborates with program management engineering manufacturing supply chain and customers to establish and maintain quality standards.

• Leads product failure investigations material review board (MRB) activities and corrective/preventive actions to ensure compliance and reliability.

• Develops strategies and systems to improve internal and supplier performance.

• Evaluates quality systems to identify and correct deficiencies.

• Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes mechanisms and equipment.

• Conducts product quality tests and statistical analyses to assess nonconforming products and materials.

• Participates in supplier selection and certification programs to uphold quality standards.

Requirements:

• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance (Interim Secret required prior to start)

• Bachelors degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or equivalent education/experience

• Familiarity with Procure-to-Pay processes or SAP

• Experience in one or more of the following disciplines: Quality Engineering Systems Engineering Materials Process Engineering Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering

• Proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and Microsoft Office applications

• Experience in Supply Chain Quality Engineering

• Proven ability in defect resolution through effective root cause and corrective action

• Quality MRB certification

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
