We re seeking an experienced reliable HVAC Technician to join our team and continue our legacy of excellence.
As an HVAC Technician at OBrien Service Company you will be responsible for installing maintaining diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems to ensure maximum customer comfort and system efficiency. You will work directly with residential and light commercial clients providing expert service that reflects the company s commitment to quality and integrity.
Install inspect troubleshoot and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems including furnaces air conditioners heat pumps and ductwork.
Perform routine maintenance and tune-ups on HVAC equipment.
Accurately diagnose HVAC issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
Read and interpret technical diagrams schematics and manufacturer instructions.
Maintain detailed records of services performed parts used and labor hours.
Provide excellent customer service clearly explaining services and answering client questions.
Ensure all work complies with local state and federal regulations and company safety standards.
Stay current on industry best practices tools and technologies.
High school diploma or GED required; technical school or HVAC certification preferred.
2 years of HVAC experience (installation maintenance or repair).
EPA Section 608 Certification required.
Valid driver s license with a clean driving record.
Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces or extreme temperatures as needed.
