Job Description

Job Position: Field Service Technician

Our client is a renowned supplier of construction equipment that offers a comprehensive benefits package. The Field Service Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our clients operations. The position involves the repair diagnosis inspection and maintenance of various types of forestry and earth moving equipment primarily servicing rentals and customer-owned equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Repairing diagnosing inspecting and maintaining various types of forestry and other earth moving equipment.
  • Communicating effectively and professionally to customers supervisors and vendors.
  • Driving company vehicles to/from company locations and job sites.
  • Being on call and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years experience as a mechanic repairing and maintaining heavy equipment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficient in using a laptop computer and scan tools for diagnostic trouble-shooting.
  • Ability to work independently and complete tasks without direct supervision.
  • Safe work habits with a "can do" attitude towards job completion.
  • Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
  • Experience in troubleshooting various heavy equipment product lines.
  • Must have your own hand tools up to 1 inch.
  • Ability to perform thorough and accurate annual inspections.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to pass a drug screen and background check.
  • Valid Washington Oregon State or Idaho Drivers License CDL endorsement is required.
