Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team supporting the Office of the Assistant Secretary (OAS) within the Industry & Analysis (I&A) unit at the International Trade Administration (ITA). In this role you will support senior leadership by delivering high-quality administrative services and helping to ensure the smooth operation of internal and external engagements briefings and communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level administrative support to I&A senior leadership and program offices.

  • Update and maintain internal trackers and schedules.

  • Gather and organize content for briefing materials and reports.

  • Arrange and coordinate meetings (internal/external) including stakeholder logistics.

  • Schedule and manage executive travel including coordination and itinerary development.

  • Draft and edit email communications for internal and external dissemination.

  • Update documents templates and records in support of ongoing operations.

  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure accuracy in fast-paced dynamic environments.


Qualifications :

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional administrative experience preferably supporting federal programs or executive leadership.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint).

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.

  • Experience supporting government stakeholders is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelors degree in business administration communications public administration or a related field.

  • Experience coordinating travel for federal leadership (e.g. using E2 Solutions or similar systems).

  • Familiarity with federal processes internal briefing workflows and communication protocols.

Employment is contingent upon contract award.
