Job Description
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a present grounded and intuitive Night Duty Manager to oversee the guest experience during the stillness of the night at a luxury guest farm in Franschhoek. This role is for someone who brings both emotional intelligence and operational grace ensuring guests feel deeply cared for while maintaining harmony flow and safety across the property.
Key Responsibilities:
Be a calm attentive and reassuring presence for guests throughout the night.
Support arrivals departures and any late-night guest needs with care clarity and discretion.
Coordinate with the wider team to ensure a seamless thoughtful and responsive guest experience.
Anticipate and respond to guests emotional and practical needs with empathy and tact.
Manage night shifts independently overseeing the wellbeing of guests and the overall calm of the property.
Requirements:
Experience in hospitality management or guest services ideally within a luxury or boutique setting.
Exceptional emotional intelligence and the ability to respond to guests with calm and sensitivity.
Strong organisational and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently maintain vigilance and make considered decisions during night hours.
Professional discreet and guest-focused approach with a calm grounded presence.
