Assistant Store Manager Somerset Mall
Retail R10000 - R13000 basic commission annual bonus and benefits

The Role: Assistant Store Manager Somerset Mall
The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations managing staff and driving sales performance. This hands-on leadership role requires someone who can motivate a team resolve challenges and consistently deliver strong results while maintaining brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Store Manager with daily operations and staff leadership

  • Manage scheduling staff rotations and operational planning

  • Monitor and drive sales performance to achieve KPIs and targets

  • Coach mentor and support team members to improve performance

  • Maintain visual merchandising and store presentation to brand standards

  • Resolve customer queries while ensuring exceptional service delivery

  • Foster a positive motivated and accountable team culture

About You

  • Minimum 3 years of retail supervisory or management experience

  • Matric certificate required; additional retail/management qualifications advantageous

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with proven ability to manage teams

  • Confident in handling staff performance management and conflict resolution

  • Goal-driven with the ability to monitor and achieve KPIs

  • Detail-focused reliable and resilient under pressure

  • Flexible to work shifts weekends and public holidays (5 working days per week with 1 guaranteed weekend off per month)
