Job Description
- Promote a positive and inclusive classroom culture.
- Monitor and track student progress keeping thorough and accurate documentation.
- Provide individualized and small-group instruction aligned with each student s IEP goals.
- Maintain a structured encouraging learning environment that fosters both academic and personal development.
- Collaborate with general education teachers related service providers and families to ensure a consistent and supportive approach for student success.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university (master s degree preferred).
- Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher or in a similar setting preferably supporting early childhood learners.
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an LBS1 endorsement (alternative credentials will not be accepted).
