Job Description
Role: Travel Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer
Location: Mesquite TX
Duration: 13 Weeks contract
Shift: 12 hour days (7am to 7pm) Weekend shift only
Schedule: 36 hours per week/3 days
Pay breakdown:
- Hourly rate - $65.00 $16.39 taxable $48.61 non-taxable
- OT rate - $97.50
- Weekly Gross - $2340.00 $590.00 taxable $1750.00 stipend
Job Summary:
Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer)
The Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) performs diagnostic medical sonography examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. This role is responsible for operating ultrasound equipment producing high-quality images and assisting physicians in the accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients. The technologist ensures patient safety provides compassionate care and maintains compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- ARRT(S) or RDMS(ARDMS) certification required
- BLS certification required
- TX state license preferred
