This is a remote position.
We are seeking a full-time Oracle Apex full stack developer to support a robust financial application supporting key revenue role involves full lifecycle development from requirements gathering to implementation of browser-based applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX). The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL and experience integrating data with Oracle s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain custom Oracle applications using Oracle APEX.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define solution sets.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL scripts for data conversion migration and integration.
- Create and manage database objects including external tables joins indexes and sequences.
- Write ad-hoc SQL queries and shell scripts to support operational needs.
- Optimize query performance using SQL Trace Explain Plan Indexing Hints Bulk Binds and Bulk Collect.
- Debug and remediate defects in a fast-paced production environment.
- Develop dynamic reports using APEX reporting tools.
- Lead technical discussions and guide teams through problem-solving and solution implementation.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Oracle APEX full stack development.
- Strong proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
- Experience with Oracle ERP system integration.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize and tune SQL queries.
- Experience in creating dynamic user-friendly reports in Oracle APEX.
- Ability to lead requirement gathering sessions and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in government or public sector environments.
- Familiarity with financial systems and revenue management applications.
- Knowledge of shell scripting and Unix/Linux environments.
