Tasks
- Lead the integration of Rust across embedded platforms and legacy systems
- Provide architectural and memory-safe coding guidance to multi-discipline teams
- Collaborate across engineering teams to define interfaces and optimize performance
- Design develop and test embedded applications using Rust C/C and Python
- Contribute throughout the full SDLC from concept to formal verification
- Drive best practices and lead technical innovation in real-time operating systems like VxWorks Linux and Integrity
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
- Active U.S. Department of Defense Secret Clearance (Required)
- 8 years embedded software development experience
- 3 years production-grade Rust development experience
- Strong background in C/C real-time systems and object-oriented design
- Excellent communication and leadership collaboration skills
Nice to have(s)
- Experience converting legacy C/C to Rust
- Familiarity with UML tools (IBM Rhapsody MagicDraw/Cameo)
- Device driver & Board Support Package (BSP) development
- Background in Information Assurance cryptography or NSA Type 1 certifications
