Job Description

Our client an Am Law 100 firm is seeking a Senior Associate (7 years) or Junior Partner for its Corporate/PE/M&A practice focusing on the sports media and entertainment sector in New York.

Role highlights

Lead leanly staffed deal teams on high-profile PE and M&A transactions for marquee industry clients
Supervise and mentor junior and mid-level associates ensuring smooth deal execution
Manage complex transactions for private-equity sponsors portfolio companies and high-net-worth individuals
Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced client-focused environment

Ideal profile

7 years of substantive PE/M&A experience with demonstrated responsibility for end-to-end deal management
Proven ability to guide and develop junior talent on transactions
Track record of handling sophisticated matters in sports media or entertainment
Exceptional analytical drafting organizational and communication skills
Stellar academic credentials
Admission to the New York Bar (or eligibility to waive in) and good standing
