About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Import Operations Specialist with a strong background in freight forwarding and international this role you will manage the end-to-end import process ensuring smooth coordination between overseas partners carriers and domestic vendors. This position requires exceptional organizational skills attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with both English- and Korean-speaking clients and partners.



Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage overseas shipping processes including booking scheduling and tracking shipments.
  • Coordinate with carriers shipping lines trucking companies and customs brokers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Oversee documentation and data entry related to import shipments.
  • Resolve issues promptly to ensure timely delivery and compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support overall logistics operations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of freight forwarding experience in import operations.
  • Bilingual in Korean and English preferred (due to frequent communication with Korean-speaking clients).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
