Job Description

Our client a top national law firm is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Litigation Trial Paralegal to join its dynamic Product Liability and Class Action Litigation Group. This position requires at least 6 years of hands-on experience managing complex litigation matters from inception through trial including significant involvement in trial preparation and courtroom support.

Key Responsibilities:

Support attorneys with all phases of case management including organization of case files discovery coordination deposition preparation and trial logistics
Draft and file pleadings discovery requests and responses subpoenas and motions in compliance with court rules
Manage large volumes of case documents including document review coding and e-discovery using industry-standard tools
Liaise with clients expert witnesses vendors and opposing counsel in preparation for hearings depositions and trial
Provide on-site trial support including managing exhibits technology and logistics within the courtroom
Conduct legal and factual research assist with case summaries and maintain accurate databases and case chronologies
Assist with post-trial activities such as settlement documentation and case close-out
Ensure all work complies with confidentiality protocols and applicable legal procedures

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program
Minimum of 6 years of litigation paralegal experience specifically in product liability and class action matters (automotive industry experience preferred)
Demonstrated trial experience including in-courtroom support and exhibit management
Proficiency with litigation support and e-discovery tools such as Relativity CaseMap TrialDirector and LexisNexis
Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a high-pressure environment
Flexibility to travel and work extended hours during trial periods
