Candidates must have - at least five (5) years of experience In the structural steel Industry in a similar role an understanding of the means and methods of the steel fabrication and steel erection process and have construction experience
This position is office-based and reports directly to the Chief Estimator. The primary responsibilities include performing computer-aided and manual takeoff estimates of structural steel components requiring a solid understanding of labor standards for these components. The role involves generating detailed documentation that supports the development of comprehensive estimates.
Key duties involve:
Conducting precise takeoffs for various types of structural steel components and understanding their typical detailing requirements.
Reviewing quotes from vendors and subcontractors to ensure they meet the contractual scope and compliance.
Producing detailed estimate summaries that highlight both basic and specialized project requirements including items for buyout.
Additionally this role will support the training and development of Estimators in Training helping them to enhance their skills and understanding of the estimating process.
Package Details
Billable Requirement:
1860 (50 hours are pro bono which counts towards billable requirement).
Bonus Structure:
We currently offer associates merit-based bonuses as well as separate hours-based bonuses that are offered on a yearly and monthly basis.
Hybrid Schedule:
Attorneys are required to be in the office three days a week. Tuesdays and Thursdays are mandatory. The third day is up to the attorney.
