Job Description

Link Solutions Inc. is seeking a Network Operations Lead to join our team in Quantico VA.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret DoD Clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Non-remote (relocation incentive available)

Our Network Operations Lead will support the United States Marine Corps (USMC) Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Program under the Marine Corps Cyberspace Operations Group (MCCOG). In this senior-level role you will manage and provide oversight of PKI system infrastructure and network operations. You will lead the sustainment and evolution of PKI capabilities across the Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN) including support for certificate authorities (CAs) validation services virtualization hardware security modules (HSMs) and secure storage.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee day-to-day technical operations for PKI Network Operations ensuring system availability performance and compliance across multiple enclaves.
  • Serve as the single Government-facing point of contact for all PKI Network Operations system management tasks.
  • Manage the deployment monitoring and maintenance of PKI infrastructure including:
    • Microsoft ADCS Keyfactor EJBCA Red Hat CA software
    • Certificate Validation Infrastructure (OCSP CRLs)
    • Hardware Security Modules (HSMs)
    • Virtual infrastructure (VMware)
    • Storage Area Network (NetApp)
    • Server Management tools
  • Provide Tier III troubleshooting and technical leadership for incident response and root cause analysis.
  • Guide configuration management change control COOP/disaster recovery and operational documentation using SharePoint repositories.
  • Direct proactive monitoring and performance tuning using MCCOG-provided tools.
  • Liaise with third-party vendors and internal teams for issue escalation and resolution.
  • Mentor junior technical staff and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications :

  • U.S. Citizen
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Ten (10) years of total IT experience
  • Minimum seven (7) years of PKI-specific experience in DoD or classified environments
  • Bachelors Degree in an IT-related field
  • Experience managing cross-functional technical teams

Certifications:

  • IAT Level III Certification required (CompTIA CASP CCNP Security CISA CISSP). 
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or current equivalent

Preferred:

  • In-depth understanding of enterprise PKI architecture certificate lifecycle operations and key management best practices.
  • Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity and information assurance regulations STIGs SCAP and RMF.
  • Hands-on experience with VMware NetApp SANs Linux/Windows integration and automated monitoring tools.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills including the ability to brief senior stakeholders and generate detailed technical documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Able to multitask prioritize and manage time efficiently.
  • Accurate and precise attention to detail.


Additional Information :

This position is contingent upon the successful acquisition of the government contract and the completion of ongoing negotiations. We anticipate these processes will be completed within the next 2 months at which time interviews and offers will be extended upon successful contract award.
