Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cook II to join our culinary team in Gaithersburg MD. As a Cook II you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality meals ensuring food safety and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our customers.
- Follow recipes and production sheets accurately documenting any necessary adjustments.
- Prepare pan garnishes for front-of-house operations with attention to detail and presentation.
- Set up and organize steam tables according to diagrams ensuring timely and efficient meal service.
- Monitor and maintain proper food temperatures throughout meal service adhering to safety standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and consistent food quality.
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation to minimize waste.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment following all sanitation protocols.
- Contribute to menu planning and suggest improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 1 year of cooking experience as a grill cook or line cook preferably in a healthcare setting required.
- ServSafe certification preferred
