Who are we

Phi Labs is a software development company initially spun out of Tendermint with the launch of the Archway protocol a Cosmos-based layer 1 blockchain designed to reward dapp developers.

At our core we are a software engineering company focused on the Cosmos SDK and CosmWasm state-of-the-art frameworks for blockchain development. Now expanding to SUI Solona and other ecosystems. Over the last year we have been grooming a DeFi product and now looking to expand our team for a bleeding-edge DeFi product.


How we work

We have team members working worldwide from the Americas Europe to the Middle East and Asia. We are very adaptive and agile with the team workflow to stay focused and address challenges of remote and strongly distributed team. Communication is vital to us and we rely heavily on Slack Google Workspace Linear Notion and GitHub to help us stay in sync. Most of the technology we build is free and open source.

This role is a full-time remote position and youre free to work from anywhere. Be advised that most team meetings occur between 6:30 am and 10:00 am Pacific Time (UTC-8/-7). If youre applying from a location where these hours are outside your usual working hours we expect you to adapt to our meeting times.


About the Role

You will play an integral part of the team building and closing partnerships for a new DeFi product - Bolt Liquidity. Phi Labs is seeking aSales Managerto drive growth through direct outreach and partnership development with other Web3 and DeFi projects. This role is focused on building relationships managing a healthy sales pipeline and closing deals that expand Bolts reach across protocols exchanges and platforms. Were pushing the boundaries of whats possible and your contribution will be integral and influential.

Job requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Deal Origination & Closing

    • Identify engage and secure partnerships with DeFi protocols exchanges wallets and other ecosystem players.

    • Manage the entire sales cycle: outreach discovery pitching proposal development negotiation and deal closure.

  • Relationship Building

    • Develop strong long-term relationships with partners and maintain ongoing communication to expand opportunities.

    • Represent Bolt in community channels industry events and Web3 conferences to expand network and visibility.

  • Pipeline Management

    • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of leads and opportunities using CRM tools.

    • Track progress against KPIs (deals closed integration growth pipeline health).

  • Market Awareness

    • Stay on top of DeFi L1/L2 and Web3 trends to identify new partnership opportunities.

    • Provide feedback from prospects and partners to Product and Growth teams to align roadmap with market needs.


What You Bring

  • Strong understanding of DeFi concepts: liquidity AMMs tokenomics cross-chain solutions and protocol integrations.

  • Experience in web3 decentralized finance (DeFi) decentralized applications (dapps) and blockchain principles

  • 24 years of experience insales partnerships or business development ideally within Web3 DeFi or SaaS.

  • Proven track record of closing deals and maintaining long-term client/partner relationships.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; comfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Proactive organized and results-oriented with experience managing pipelines and hitting targets.

  • Bonus: prior experience working in a startup or remote-first environment; familiarity with ecosystems such as

    • Cosmos SUI and/or Solana

Compensation
This role includes a competitive salary package consisting of abase salary plus on-target earnings (OTE) tied to closed partnerships and performance metrics.
