ABOUT THE CLIENT:
Youll be working for a church based in Brisbane Australia - a young fun and lively community passionate about reaching and empowering people with the love grace and power of the gospel. Youll be part of a team that pushes creative boundaries to deliver excellence in every visual aspect of the church. From Kids Ministry to Conference Branding and Merchandise youll work on a wide variety of materials. With a strong presence in the community they use creative visual storytelling to inspire inform and engage audiences across multiple platforms. Their work environment fosters innovation collaboration and excellence in every project.
JOB SUMMARY:
As a Graphic Designer you will create impactful visuals for both digital and print platforms maintain brand identity and occasionally craft compelling copy. You will be at the forefront of producing designs that inspire audiences and push creative boundaries ensuring every project reflects excellence and innovation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Graphic design of digital and print media (print including flyers cards magazines and booklets
Pushing creative boundaries to bring innovative designs to the table
Maintaining the visual and lingual brand
Occasionally write copy for captions or event ads
Requirements
2 to 3 years of relevant experience
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
Ability to design in a creative and contemporary/modern style
Degree in Information Technology Marketing or any related field
Experience in Adobe InDesign Photoshop and/or Illustrator (ideally with sample portfolio)
Experience with Video Editing would be an advantage (not required)
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Apps
Ability to manage multiple projects
Ability to learn quickly and follow creative briefs and brand style guide
High attention to detail
Strong & efficient work ethic

At least 3 + years experience in Digital Marketing Intermediate Word and Excel skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Knowledge of relevant marketing tools and applications Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines CRM & Email Marketing: Intermediate to advanced skills in Zoho (or similar). We\'re keen on leveraging this platform even more. WordPress Publishing: Whilst the primary responsibility is publishing articles and blogs, development capability would be an advantage. Design: Intermediate skills in Canva. Social Media: Beginner to intermediate skills. Our focus is on promoting our great work rather than being overly complex. SEO: While we use an external firm for SEO, you\'ll need to understand how to execute on their instructions and publish according to their guidelines. Analytics and Reporting: Monthly reporting of the success of our marketing efforts across all channels. Strong Organisational Skills: You\'ll have a lot of balls to juggle, so the ability to prioritise and excel in internal communications is essential.
