Undergraduate Trainee Quality Assurance - UX & Frontend Framework (IFS Technology)

Were inviting passionate university undergraduates to join our UX & Frontend Framework team within R&D Technology as part of an exciting internship program. This is a hands-on opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the development of our next-generation client frameworks.

What Youll Work On:

1. Angular-Based Web Client Development

• Build and maintain our web client framework using Angular TypeScript RxJS and HTML5
• Collaborate on UI/UX improvements and performance enhancements

2. Windows Client Maintenance

• Support and enhance IFS Enterprise Explorer our .NET C#-based Windows client application

3. Automated Testing

• Develop unit and end-to-end tests using Jest and Cypress
• Ensure code quality and reliability through continuous testing practices

4. DevOps & CI/CD Integration

• Contribute to the delivery pipeline of IFS Cloud Client Framework
• Work with Bitbucket Jenkins pipelines and Cypress test integration
• Enhance observability and monitoring using Grafana dashboards
• Support quality assurance through CI/CD automation and deployment workflows

Qualifications :

We are looking for candidates who can commit a minimum of 1 year in the internship. 

Any prior experience in using the above technologies in university undergraduate work would be an added advantage not a must though.

While not mandatory the following skills will give you an edge:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Exposure to at least one scripting language (e.g. Python JavaScript)
• Basic understanding of UX design principles
• Familiarity with Quality Assurance processes
• Awareness of performance optimization concepts
• Clear and structured documentation skills
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
