Our client is a global leader in the development manufacturing and worldwide distribution of sustainable fire suppression solutions for almost three decades. With a distribution network spanning 90 countries They are seeking to support and expand its operations across Korea by recruiting an experienced dynamic and self-motivated Business Development Manager to join its current successful and dynamic team. The company belongs to a global group based in the United Kingdom and listed on the London Stock Exchange (FTSE 100).
The Business Development Manager for Korea is expected to identify and develop profitable business opportunities to grow FirePros existing sales and distribution channel. The successful candidate should have an excellent understanding of the fire industry in Korea and be able to establish and execute a marketing and sales plan for the achievement of our firm s growth objectives. The position will involve extensive travelling and effectively presenting the Company technology to key industry stakeholders business influencers and end users that form part of the target audience. The BDM will be locally supported by the local Korea team and will be reporting on a regular basis to the International Business Development Manager at headquarters. A comprehensive remuneration package comprising a competitive basic salary and bonus structure will be offered based on qualifications and experience.
Develop and execute an annual business plan identifying key objective opportunities and setting sales targets.
Collaborate with channel partners to prospect and acquire new clients fostering a robust pipeline for sustainable business growth.
Travel extensively across the territory to lead engaging sales meetings and presentations aimed at seizing business opportunities.
Cultivate and nurture exceptional client relationships ensuring satisfaction among partners and stakeholders.
Deliver commercial and technical training and support to distributors consulting engineers and key accounts ensuring proficient understanding of our technology.
Actively participate in trade shows and industry conferences to expand networks and develop business opportunities.
Maintain an up-to-date proficiency in our technology and related systems staying abreast of advancements.
Regularly update headquarters on meetings site visits and business activities through meticulous and detailed report & progress documentation.
A bachelor s degree in engineering preferably Mechanical or Electrical. An MBA will be considered an advantage.
A minimum of 10 years experience in sales or business development within the fire alarm and suppression industry.
Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning sales marketing and business development.
Native proficiency in Korean language with fluent spoken and written English.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
Strong business acumen and commercial insight.
Proficiency in negotiation persuasion and networking.
Commitment to professional integrity and ethical business practices.
