We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile AV Design Engineer to support the full lifecycle of audio-visual (AV) projects from client consultations and solution proposals to system design and technical documentation. This role blends technical pre-sales support with hands-on AV design responsibilities ensuring seamless transitions from concept to execution.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Client Consultation & Requirement Gathering
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand client objectives and gather AV requirements.
- Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies.
- Translate client needs into functional and technical specifications.
Solution Design & Technical Proposals
- Design customized AV solutions including audio video control systems and integration technologies.
- Create system layouts schematics and equipment specs using AutoCAD Visio or Revit.
- Prepare proposals BOMs and cost estimates aligned with client budgets.
Technical Sales Support
- Deliver product demos and technical presentations.
- Support RFP/RFQ responses and address technical queries.
- Contribute to sales strategy with technical insights.
System Integration & Installation Support
- Provide on-site support during installation and commissioning.
- Troubleshoot and calibrate AV systems.
- Ensure design integrity during implementation.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain records of client interactions and design iterations.
- Creste solution documents for design explanation.
Quality Control & Compliance
- Ensure designs meet AVIXA standards and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with IT electrical and architectural teams for integration compatibility.
Post-Sales Support
- Offer technical support post-installation.
- Recommend upgrades or enhancements based on client feedback.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Electronics IT or related field.
- Strong understanding of AV technologies (Crestron Extron Biamp etc.).
- Proficiency in design tools (AutoCAD Visio Revit).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- AVIXA CTS certification (preferred).

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, HR, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in office administration or a similar role. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
