Job Description
Specialist (A4) 4 Resources
Position: Specialist Application/Production Support
Experience Level: 4 years
Shift: Rotational Shifts (24/7 Support)
Must Have Skills
- Production Support Experience with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in operations support or system administration.
- Ability to provide 24/5 production support in a rotational shift environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and issue resolution skills.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins Docker Kubernetes and Terraform.
- Proficiency with Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Hands-on experience in any scripting language preferably Shell / Bash Scripting.
- Ability to manage CI/CD pipelines and implement automation for build and deployment processes.
- Working Experience with Azure Cloud / Azure DevOps .
- Experience in creating and maintaining automation scripts for routine tasks (e.g. backups monitoring patching).
- Practical knowledge of administering and supporting MySQL PostgreSQL and Oracle databases.
- Experience in resolving database-related incidents and performing backups.
- Ability to work closely with development DBA and DevOps teams to resolve production issues.
- Ability to document support activities prepare reports and create knowledge base articles.
Good to Have Skills
- Understanding of networking concepts firewalls and load balancing to support production applications.
- Proficiency in Java / JavaScript Python.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios Splunk or Prometheus.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.
