Role Overview:
We are seeking a Software Testing Intern to join our Quality Assurance (QA) team. This is an exciting opportunity for students passionate about software quality and testing. You ll be involved in both automated and manual testing contributing to the stability and performance of our web-based applications. You ll primarily work with Selenium TestNG and Selenium Grid to write and execute test cases and assist with manual testing for more complex user scenarios.
Key Responsibilities:

Design develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and TestNG.

Set up and manage Selenium Grid to enable cross-browser and parallel test execution.

Conduct manual testing of application features not yet covered by automation.

Identify log and track bugs and issues using internal defect tracking tools.

Collaborate closely with developers product managers and the broader QA team to ensure comprehensive test coverage and quick resolution of issues.

Document and maintain detailed test plans test cases and execution reports.

Participate in regular team meetings and QA process reviews offering feedback and suggestions for improvement.
Requirements:
-
Currently pursuing a 2nd or 3rd-year degree in Computer Science Information Technology or any related engineering field.

Strong foundational understanding of software testing principles and practices.

Practical experience or academic training in Selenium WebDriver and TestNG.

Familiarity with Selenium Grid and concepts of parallel testing.

Basic proficiency in manual testing techniques and writing clear test cases.

Ability to write clean well-documented test scripts in Java (preferred).

Keen attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Nice to Have (Bonus Skills):

Hands-on experience with Git or other version control systems.

Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins for integrating automated testing in deployment pipelines.

Understanding of Agile or Scrum methodologies and QA s role in iterative development.
