Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient General Cashier to join our team in Jakarta Indonesia. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions ensuring accuracy in cash handling and maintaining proper documentation for our organization.

  • Manage daily cash transactions including receiving payments issuing receipts and processing refunds
  • Prepare and balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift
  • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and report any discrepancies to management
  • Assist in the preparation of daily bank deposits and cash control reports
  • Operate point-of-sale systems and other financial software with precision
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations
  • Provide excellent customer service addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Adhere to all relevant financial regulations and company policies
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements as required
  • Perform regular cash counts and reconciliations to ensure accuracy
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a similar cashier role
  • Excellent command of English and fluency in Bahasa Indonesia both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in computer skills particularly with financial software and point-of-sale systems
  • Strong mathematical skills and ability to handle cash accurately
  • Meticulous attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial transactions
  • Thorough knowledge of cash handling procedures and financial regulations
  • Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays as required
  • Integrity and trustworthiness in handling financial transactions
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team


Additional Information :

experience is an asset
Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Fluency in English additional languages are a plus
