- To lead Project Management Commissions taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery.
- To act as the key day to day client interface ensuring that client objectives are met and that projects
- are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards.
Project management to include:
- Advising at a strategic level at the project conception stage including providing advice on the different approaches that can be adopted in order to successfully achieve the clients overall objectives.
- Leading the establishment of the overall success criteria for the project including time cost technical and performance parameters.
- Planning for and the ongoing management of quality safety health and environment issues
- Establishing effective project governance processes and systems to be utilised throughout project.
- Advising upon the procurement of resources.
- Leading and facilitating the overall cross-functional project team.
- Monitoring and applying performance management techniques including the use of KPIs to improve project performance.
- Taking a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants at all project stages.
- Ensuring that project case study photographs and project CV files are kept up to date.
- Identifying and acting upon opportunities to improve project management products and services.
- Project Planning: Developing detailed project plans including timelines budgets and resource allocation.
- Budget and Change Management: Managing the change control process assisting with estimating costs preparing budgets and managing expenditures to ensure the project stays within financial limits.
- Scheduling: Creating and maintaining project schedules ensuring timely completion of milestones and deliverables.
- Team Coordination: Leading and coordinating the project team including architects engineers contractors and subcontractors.

- Communication: Serving as the primary point of contact for stakeholders including clients regulatory agencies and team members to provide updates and resolve issues.
- Quality Control: Ensuring that construction work meets quality standards and complies with building codes and regulations.
- Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to minimize delays and budget overruns.
- Procurement: Managing the procurement of materials equipment and services required for the project.
- Site Management: Overseeing day-to-day operations on the construction site ensuring safety standards are met and addressing any issues that arise.
- Reporting: Preparing regular progress reports and documentation for stakeholders outlining project status challenges and achievements.
- Change Management: Handling changes in project scope budget or timelines and communicating these changes to all relevant parties.
- Final Inspections and Closeout Conducting final inspections ensuring all work is completed to specifications and managing project closeout processes.
- Taking a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants at all project stages
Marketing and business development to include:
- Building and maintaining a credible list of pursuits.
- Identifying and acting upon cross-selling opportunities
- Preparing bid proposals winning work and successful delivery of the projects
- Working with Associate Directors and Directors to construct bids for new work
- Attending formal client pitches with Associate Directors and Directors
- Ensuring that project case study photograph and project CV files are kept up to date
- Identifying and acting upon opportunities to improve project management products and services
- Assisting with recruitment interviews and hiring of new employee
Qualifications :
- Degree in Construction Project Management or equivalent qualification
- 6 -10 years experience
- Must preferably be registered with a professional body as Professional Project Manager
- Mandatory Hotel experience with an international brand
- Ability and willingness to work onsite as needed.
- Construction project management experience and the ability to be highly effective in a client facing role.
- Membership in relevant professional organizations.
- Ability to advise at a strategic level during each project stage including providing advice on the different approaches that can be adopted in order to successfully achieve the clients overall objectives.
- Proficiency in Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook Procore and construction project management tools.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Great time management skills. Ensure that project is managed to the right quality standards completed efficiently and on time.
- Strong organizational and management skills ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the broader team.
- Experienced managing demanding stakeholders and work stream managers.
