Job Description
**Kingston Trenton and Cornwall**
Were seeking a seasoned polished and relentlessly processdriven Senior Construction Superintendent to lead challenging commercial institutional and government project.
If you thrive on complex scope sequencing complexity owning the schedule and building trusted client relationships at the highest level ensuring every detail is executed to the highest standard this is your next big move.
- Lead from the front: Direct and oversee all site operations ensuring compliance with contracts specifications and client needs.
- Own the schedule: Develop update and manage the master schedule in MS Project including logic sequencing and frontend planning.
- Continuously monitor project budget and forecasting to the individual phase code level and cost type for potential gains and losses
- Provide leadership and direction for all project activities and tasks ensuring project outcomes are delivered successfully and in compliance with all contracts and client needs
- Client & stakeholder engagement: Represent the company with polish and professionalism in all dealings with clients consultants and institutional/government bodies.
- Ensure clear communication of project-specific roles and responsibilities for all site personnel.
- Resource coordination: Ensure tools equipment and materials are available and in optimal condition.
Qualifications :
- Confident communicator who can navigate seniorlevel client conversations with ease.
- 10 years experience in commercial construction for a large general contractor
- 5 years experience as a superintendent for a large general contractor
- Proven track record on government and institutional projects
- Exceptional proficiency in MS Project for scheduling and sequencing
- Strong understanding of complex scopes and multiphase build sequencing
- Journeyman trade certification or equivalent experience
- Technical diploma and/or Gold Seal certification are considered assets
