Job Description Personal Caregiver / Home Support Worker
One shift must be on Sundays (garbage removal required)
- Second shift is flexible on a weekdayCompensation: As per agency ratePreferred Language: Cantonese
About the Role
We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Personal Caregiver / Home Support Worker to support a male patient in Mississauga. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Cantonese reliable and capable of assisting with personal support household tasks meal preparation errands and transportation needs.
Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping & Cleaning: General tidying light housekeeping and maintaining a safe environment.
Garbage Removal: Weekly curbside garbage disposal (must be done on Sundays).
Cooking & Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light cooking.
Grocery Shopping: Accompany or drive the patient to the grocery store once per week; assist with shopping.
Transportation Support: Drive patient to and from medical appointments as required.
Companionship: Provide respectful companionship and emotional support while ensuring patient dignity.
Requirements
Fluency in Cantonese (required).
Valid driver s licence and access to a vehicle (required).
Prior experience in caregiving home care or personal support work (preferred).
Ability to manage household tasks and meal preparation.
COVID-19 vaccination not required for this role.
No interview with family or HomecareHub required prior to assignment.
