Divisional Services and Administration is a team of highly skilled professionals responsible for delivering outstanding student and staff experiences through high-quality confidential secretarial and administrative support services. We are a strong supportive whakawhanaukataka (community) proud of the work we do as the largest workforce in the university spanning every corner of the motu.
The role/Te mahi
Based within the Division of Commerce you will be part of a collaborative and supportive administrative team. No two days will look the same your responsibilities will be varied and dynamic including:
Working closely with the Senior Administrator and Operations Lead on a variety of tasks and projects.
Providing essential cover during staff shortages to keep services running smoothly.
Managing and providing general divisional support such as reception services arranging meetings and taking minutes.
Coordinating travel and supporting events.
Processing transactional finance activities including purchase card reconciliation reimbursements purchasing and invoicing.
Stepping in wherever needed to support the efficient operation of the office.

This is a full-time (37.5 hours per week) fixed-term position until 5 December 2025 based in tepoti Dunedin.
The appointment range for this role is $63508 to $68185 per annum top of range is $73640.
