Overall mission:

- The EDM Global Solution Champion who is part of the EDM Master Data team is Globally F&B/T&W responsible for the Data Standard the End-to-end Process supporting the master data Life Cycle and the good quality of the data entered into the systems. He/She drives design build testing and implementation of a new data governance with the guidance of their GSC Manager and the GSE.

Contacts:

- All the GSEs RSCs GPCs RPCs and Primary Points of Contacts owning the processes consuming this master data (i.e. Procurement Compliance Quality Management Customer Care Planning Finance .) and the complete EDM organization
- You will be reporting to the EDM GSC Mgr Cust/Vendor/OrgStr & RefData

Main responsibilities for their area of master date:

Solution performance

The GSC is responsible for designing and building the process and solution supporting the life cycle of their specific Master Data
They are also responsible for designing and building the data quality rules supporting the other business processes
They are responsible for measuring and reporting on their process performance in adherence to service levels & policies and procedures
They are responsible for the creation of relevant process documentation and ensure it is up-to-date and shared within knowledge management and the delivery centre
Actively collect document and insert in the actual design the continuous improvement opportunities reported by the EDM GSE Master and (or) their GSC Manager
Act as an escalation point for operational process/system issues & questions

People and collaboration

Work alone comfortably but may need assistant from their GSC Senior peers and or GSC Manager
Builds constructive and effective relationships with cross functional teams and stakeholders
Act as contact person for key internal and external stakeholders for operational topics
Design and update process specific training requirements and materials and deliver trainings
Proactive co-operation with other work streams within GBS in overseeing the end-to-end process
Communicate effectively with internal and external partners by phone or via email

Governance stakeholder & controls

Supports their GSC Manager in preparing design and scoping topics and governance meetings
Interact with operational teams in GBS centres and in sites/divisions
Work closely with the their GSC Manager and network of Process Champions and Solution Expert

You

Diploma: Bachelors Degree strongly preferred
Languages: Excellent / Proficient in English
Professional experience: 3 years of relevant experience in function-specific role or equivalent. Relevant process experience
Travel: This position does require up to 30% of travel domestic and / or international.

Technical skills :

Software skills: Experience with large ERP systemsKnowledge of SAP
Knowledge of MS Excel and of Microsoft Office or equivalent tools
Strong numeracy and administration skills

Personal skills:

Demonstrated analytical skills
Stakeholder management skills
