What Youll Do
Offer an exceptional patient experience at the reception area.The Registrarwill provide administrative support to clinical staff in order to facilitate the clerical components ofreferrals for various services. They will serveas the first point of contact for patients within facility and the ideal candidate will portray Grand River in positive professional light.
- Resolves pre-certification registration and case-related concerns prior to a patients appointment.
- Gathers pertinent information from insurance carriers financial counselors and other ancillary staff to make certain the patients financial obligations for services provided.
- Enters referrals and documents communications actions and other data in an information system.
- Acts as a liaison between hospitals physicians health plans vendors and patients or other referral sources.
- Offers a friendly environment at the end of the patients appointment collect payment schedule any necessary follow-up appointments and coordinate patient orders and referrals.
- Responsible for money collected and report accordingly

- Courses or experiences showing commitment reliability or work ethic
- Speaks both English and Spanish to better serve our community but not required
- Brings clinic experience but well train the right person
What We Offer
Our total rewards package includes
- Pay Range: $17.50 - $21.14/hour (based on experience)
- Shift Differentials:$2$4/hour for nights and weekends

Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors including a candidates qualifications skills competencies and experience.
