The Senior Production Supervisor position is a supervisory leadership role supported by on-the-job training development and opportunity for career progression. Senior Production Supervisors are:

What youll do...
- Supervise evaluate and empower a team that produces manufactured products and organize workflow to meet quality and daily productivity requirements
- Ensure safety quality and productivity objectives are met through coaching standardized work verifying lines are running safely smoothly and producing quality parts
- Drive to exceed personal/team/Company goals by holding self and team to high performance standards through servant leadership
- Build strong interpersonal relationships with hourly team members union and management teams
- Support peer team by training coaching and developing newly hired and promoted Supervisors.
- Optimize throughput in accordance with budgets and cost objectives.
Youll have...
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- 2 - 3 years of supervisory and/or manufacturing experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Word PowerPoint and Outlook
- Ability to in being able to work rotating shifts and hours

- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in difficult and stressful situations
- Two-way communicator who actively listens to hourly team members leaders business partners and customers
- Highly committed to continuous improvement applying innovative solutions with a customer first mindset

- Values different opinions & is open to ideas & perspectives from others

- Bachelors Degree
- Safety and quality experience
- Six Sigma: Black or Green Belt certified
- Knowledge of constraint management principles
- Prior experience managing a unionized workforce
- Strong mechanical background
