Job Description
Job Responsibilities
The Website CMS Analyst is responsible for optimizing the colleges Content Management System to support the websites designers editors contributors and end users. The analyst provides technical solutions to information delivery system optimization training and ease-of-use problems. Learn more about TTC!Minimum and Additional Requirements
This position requires a high school diploma and experience in computer system development and modification. A bachelors degree in a related area may be substituted for the required work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Successful candidate will have the following attributes:
- A strong proficiency with website development and deployment in a Content Management System
- The ability to write clean maintainable semantic HTML CSS XML and JavaScript code to create custom flexible page templates
- A solid understanding of effective UI design meeting accessibility standards and coding environment best practices
- Able to explain technical concepts in an easy-to-understand manner and work well in a collaborative team environment
- Able to clearly communicate in person and in writing and both give and take constructive feedback in a professional manner
- Able to work under pressure and prioritize work assignments
- An organized problem solver willing to help team members accomplish their objectives
- Experience working within brand guidelines and translating design mockups into functional web templates
- Graphic design skills are a plus
Preferred Qualifications- An associate degree in a web development related field
- 3-5 years of experience working in a web development team environment or a bachelors degree in a web development related field.
