Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer to contribute to the development of high-quality user-centered digital solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in defining and implementing user experience strategies ensuring design consistency and enhancing usability across our software platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advocate for the importance of User Experience within the organization and educate teams on UX best practices.
- Design user-centric solutions that meet both business objectives and user needs.
- Develop user flows wireframes interactive prototypes and high-fidelity mockups to address complex business and user challenges.
- Establish and maintain a design system to ensure consistency and accelerate development across platforms.
- Identify UX issues and propose actionable solutions to relevant stakeholders.
- Gather analyze and incorporate user feedback analytics and usability findings to optimize the user experience.
- Communicate design concepts and solutions effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
- Collaborate closely with two Scrum teams responsible for software maintenance and enhancement.
- Conduct UX research using methods such as user interviews surveys competitor analysis laboratory studies and analytics evaluation.
Required Qualifications and Competencies:
- Demonstrated experience as a UX/UI Designer with a comprehensive portfolio of relevant projects.
- Experience leading design sprints and facilitating collaborative problem-solving sessions including with senior personnel.
- Proficiency in Figma and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently within an Agile sprint framework.
- Strong commitment to design excellence and user experience.
- Competence in delivering presentations and influencing design decisions effectively.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices to ensure inclusive design.
- Knowledge of browser and device compatibility issues including responsive design considerations.
- Practical experience in user research and application of design thinking methodologies.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with experience engaging with staff at all organizational levels.
- Experience working within cross-functional Agile/Scrum teams.
- Practical knowledge of Design Thinking principles.
Desirable Attributes:
- Basic HTML and CSS proficiency.
- Experience designing SaaS applications.
- Mobile-first design expertise.
- Experience contributing to multiple cross-functional Agile/Scrum teams.
Note: Hybrid Option available for candidates residing in remote locations
