Summary of Job Duties:
The Credentialing Coordinator supports the Professional Staff Office functions including: primary source verifications of expirables outpatient ordering provider processing practitioner status requests and terminations of credentialed and managed care practitioners; Credentials Committee agenda support; credentialing file maintenance; scanning of practitioner files; project management tasks; administrative functions related to the Bylaws Rules and Regulations and Departmental Policies and Procedures; and regulatory compliance.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree OR
- High School Diploma/GED 4 years of of general administrative experience.
Preferred Qualification:
- Experience in medical staff services credentialing office physicians office practice hospital admissions medical records or other health care related fields is preferred.
Additional Information:
Job Requirements:
- Generates and reviews scheduled reports from the credentialing database in order to process Monthly Board Certification Malpractice License and DEA Expirable and Monthly 6 Month Reviews. Analyzes data accuracy and ensures compliance of all credentialing activities.
- Process Daily JFR Terms Outpatient Ordering Requests Affiliation Requests and Individual CPA and Delegation Agreements submitted not related to JFR Terms. Ensures that time sensitive verifications used in credentialing process meet requirements. Adds proper documentation to the credentialing record
- Administrative duties including supply ordering travel and P-Card reconciliation preparing meeting invites files agendas and memos for review. Attends meetings reviewing files and responds to issues as needed. Submits committee meeting minutes and memos.
- Distributes and monitors additional privilege applications. Requests additional documentation when necessary. Obtains primary source verifications for all required credentialing elements. Investigates researches and resolves discrepancies in information provided by applicant and primary source verifications.
- Performs other duties as needed.
