Position: R&D Quality Engineer (Electrical)
Location:Krakw (hybrid)

This is a perfect role for someone seeking a creative position at the intersection of quality mechanical engineering and electrical engineering.

TheQuality Methods Team (QMT) part of our Research & Development department supports a wide range of global-scale projects across multiple business units including Transformers and High Voltage (HV) equipment.

As an R&D Quality Engineer you will collaborate with various departments across the organization making a real impact on the quality of our products and processes and actively contributing to the implementation of innovative solutions used worldwide.

How youll make an impact:

  • Conducting FMEA analyses for new and existing products and manufacturing processes.
  • Organizing and moderating FMEA workshops with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Collaborating with development production and quality departments to identify assess and eliminate potential risks.
  • Analyzing various types of products including transformers bushings tap changers HV switchgear circuit breakers and surge arresters.
  • Ensuring high-quality FMEA documentation and compliance with methodology standards.
  • Training project teams in the application of FMEA.
  • Supporting R&D projects focused on improving product quality and reliability.
  • Implementing innovative solutions and sharing knowledge across international teams.
  • Reviewing product designs being in the development phase and identifying potential failure modes.

Your background

  • Higher technical education (preferred: electrical engineering or related fields).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in R&D quality or production.
  • Practical knowledge of FMEA methodology and quality improvement tools and techniques.
  • Fluent English and willingness to travel internationally.
  • Ability to analyze technical data and identify areas for improvement.
  • Capability to work in interdisciplinary teams in a dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Experience with power equipment (e.g. power transformers) will be an asset.
