Automation Engineer DeltaV (Contract)
The Opportunity
We re looking for a motivated Automation Engineer with strong DeltaV expertise to play a key role in a long-term project supporting advanced manufacturing systems. This position offers the chance to work on complex automation challenges in a highly regulated environment collaborating with diverse teams to deliver safe reliable and efficient solutions.
What You ll Do
Take ownership of DeltaV system design configuration and upgrades.
Translate project requirements into clear functional specifications.
Review technical documents and provide input to ensure high-quality outcomes.
Work with engineering teams and vendors to deliver system improvements.
Support testing and qualification activities from FATs to onsite commissioning.
Implement changes following structured lifecycle and compliance processes.
Troubleshoot issues and ensure automation solutions meet safety and quality standards.
Share knowledge and best practices on automation standards with project stakeholders.
Requirements
What We re Looking For
Degree in Engineering Computer Science or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years experience with DeltaV applications including batch processes.
Strong knowledge of automation within regulated/GMP environments.
Familiarity with software lifecycle methodologies and continuous improvement tools.
Problem-solver with strong analytical and decision-making skills.
Team player who can collaborate across engineering IT and vendor groups.
Nice to Have
Hands-on experience commissioning DeltaV systems in pharmaceutical or similar industries.
