Responsibilities
What Youll Do
- Lead and oversee all billing operations including managing a Senior Billing Associate.
- Ensure GAAP compliance and proper revenue recognition (ASC606) across diverse contracts with different billing and term schedules.
- Drive month-end close processes preparing accurate entries for income statements and balance sheets.
- Manage the conversion of billing systems from Dynamics to Oracle ensuring smooth transitions and reconciliations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to support accurate financial reporting and operational needs.
Qualifications
What Were Looking For Must-Haves
- Bachelors degree in Accounting.
- 3 years of hands-on accounting experience.
- Deep expertise in deferred revenue accruals and the interrelationships between revenue accounts receivable and deferred income with a strong command of credits and debits.
- Proficiency in Excel Word Access and Salesforce.
- Strong GAAP knowledge.
- Experience with MS Dynamics and/or Oracle.
- Proven success across multiple financial roles.
- Strong leadership communication and presentation skills.
- Background in the automotive sector (a plus not a must).
