Job Description

Job Summary: Responsible to help lead support and direct all restaurant operations. Maintain an efficient profitable and professional restaurant by providing high levels of guest and associate satisfaction. Provide quality service in a clean organized and well-maintained dining room. Uphold our company standards and to assist the General Manager in day to day operations of the hotel in the evenings.

Responsibilities
  • Work hands-on in the pub supporting coaching and working with associates
  • Greeting seating and being present on the floor for our guests to insure properhospitality.
  • Supervise and direct Pub employees.
  • Develop floor charts schedules daily assignments and floor management.
  • Place orders and manage inventories
  • Control staffing and labor costs
  • Help assure proper staffing shift to shift utilize schedules and calling staff when needed.
  • Review labor cost control efforts daily with Restaurant Manager.
  • Hire train and coach the restaurant associates to meet standards
  • Learn hiring tools and interviewing techniques.
  • Follow and maintain training programs and standards for dining room and bar.
  • Maintain the dining room cleanliness organization and maintenance to company standard
  • Attend all requested management meetings work on management projects and development.
  • PM leadership for hotel staff.
Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must be able to work evenings 3-11pm
  • Strong leadership skills in managing team members
  • Effective communication skills
  • College degree in hospitality management preferred but not required
  • 1-3 years of full-service restaurant experience as host bartender or server.
  • Minimum 1-year experience supervising staff
  • Proficient computer skills withbasic knowledge in spreadsheets and word processing
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with a goodgrasp of the English language
  • Possess working knowledge of POS systems
  • Requires the ability to walk and stand during long lengths of time.
  • Exert well-paced ability to reach other areas of the restaurant and departments of the hotel in a timely basis.
  • Requires ability to lift 30 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
