Job Description
As the Group Accountant your duties include the following:
Perform monthly reviews of bank deposit and income reconciliations
Review supplier ageing accruals prepayments and control accounts
Process international refunds and consolidated debtors
Manage fixed asset registers
Assist the Group FM with staff training and development
Annual audit preparation
Implement and test new systems
Manage and monitor internal controls
Implement and maintain reporting tools
Ensure accounting aligns with IFRS for SMEs
Prepare budgets and monthly audit files
Ad-hoc duties as required by management
Skills & Experience:
Proficiency in Xero Accounting
Advanced Excel Skills
Strong communication skills in both English and Afrikaans
Qualification:
Registered CA(SA)
