In order to support our business we are looking for a Hardware Engineer.
Position Summary:
This position will be responsible for providing Hardware technical support for Vietnam and SEA and reporting to STS Manager of SE Asia/ANZ/JPK.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver service and technical support to end-users via phone through the use of Salesforce software or via remote PC connection.
- Interact with customers to provide and process information in response to hardware technical support inquiries concerns and requests about products.
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware issues involving connectivity function and performance of Instruments.
- Follow standard processes and procedures to document issues.
- Identify and escalate priority issues per client specifications.
- Organize ideas and communicate oral messages appropriate to listeners and situations.
- Follow up and make scheduled call backs to customers where necessary.
- Process and distribute instrument certification documentation in a timely manner.
- Train customers in how to operate and maintain the equipment properly especially related to hardware.
- Offer the best annual service packages to the customers according to the company policies.
- Other tasks assigned by manager.
Experience & Qualifications:
You have:
- College or above major in mechanical electronic engineering preferred automation background.
- Has at least 3 years and above working experience and with field service experience
- Production and Processing-Knowledge of raw materials production processes quality control costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Problem Sensitivity-The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong relevant knowledge structure in Paint Coating and Plastic industry.
- Computer Science and Electronics-Knowledge of circuit boards processors chips electronic equipment and computer hardware and software including applications and programming.
- Engineering and Technology-Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles techniques procedures and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.
- English is the must; Chinese is a plus.
- Teamwork spirit & good interpersonal communication skills.
