What youll do
- Own and exceed sales targets through strong acquisition efforts and disciplined pipeline management.
- Develop and execute Vietnams go-to-market (GTM) strategy including vertical focus lead generation and sales motions.
- Identify high-potential verticals customer segments and use cases to drive scalable growth.
- Create compelling value propositions in collaboration with Product Marketing and other functional teams.
- Lead coach and grow a high-performing Business Development team with clear performance expectations and a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Leverage market insights and customer feedback to shape product direction and GTM execution.
- Represent Payoneer in industry forums and build strategic partnerships to drive brand visibility and lead flow.
- Serve as the voice of Vietnam Sales across internal stakeholdersRisk Compliance Product Ops and Leadership.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless customer experience and long-term retention.
- Contribute local insights to inform regional and global initiatives and priorities
Who you are
- Fluent in English Mandarin proficiency is a plus
- Strong data-driven decision-making with excellent communication listening negotiation and presentation skills.
- At least 8 years of experience in business development and sales with at least 4 years of sales team management experience preferably in payments ecommerce or managing large size merchant acquisitions
- Track record of meeting and exceeding business established goals
- Experience in leading complex negotiations with CXOs of large and enterprise accounts
- Ability to drive operational excellence through innovative initiatives
- Ability to manage a high performing team
- Ability to inspire direct reports and influence those without direct management responsibility
- Strong team player self-motivated and the ability to work independently at coordinating across functional activities obtain buy-in and elevate issues at critical junctures appropriately
Not a must but a great advantage:
- Experience in the Payments and Banking industry
- Familiarity with the B2B and Enterprise Customer Segment
- Experience with direct sales for small businesses engaged in cross border trade
- Experience working in an international company with diverse culture
