This Position reports to:
Regional CHO Lead MEA& AsiaYour role and responsibilities
In this role you will be responsible for overseeing operations ensuring compliance with local regulations and aligning strategies with ABBs global objectives. This role involves financial management stakeholder engagement and team leadership to drive operational excellence and foster a strong governance framework.
Work model: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid
- Developing and implementing country-specific strategies that align with ABBs global objectives.
- Overseeing financial operations including budgeting forecasting and compliance with US GAAP and local reporting requirements.
- Ensuring collaboration between businesses in line with the ABB-Way and establish local governance in compliance with regulations.
- Fulfilling fiduciary duties for ABBs local legal entities and act as the authorized signatory for compliance with local regulations.
- Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders including government entities and external auditors to represent ABB locally.
Driving continuous improvement initiatives and lead operational excellence efforts.
Qualifications for this role
- Around 10 to 15 years of experience in financial management strategic planning or a related field with at least 5 years in a management role.
- Strong analytical communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
- Deep knowledge of local regulations and culture with a strong understanding of governance and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated leadership and strategic thinking abilities adaptable and able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Committed to fostering a speak-up culture and promoting ABBs values of sustainability innovation and integrity.
