We are now looking for a Senior Android Software Engineerto join our R&D this role you will play a key part in designing developing and maintaining advanced Android applications that support critical healthcare workflows. Youll not only code but also lead by example mentoring junior engineers driving innovation and ensuring high-quality scalable solutions.
What Youll Do
- Design and implement reliable high-performing Android software solutions.
- Lead technical investigations feasibility studies and refactoring efforts.
- Translate customer and stakeholder requirements into innovative features.
- Resolve customer issues and support existing product lines.
- Coach and mentor engineers guiding them in design and implementation.
- Contribute to technical documentation design reviews and code reviews.
- Ensure quality by creating and promoting unit tests and participating in product verification.
- Stay up to date with the latest Android and mobile technologies bringing fresh ideas to the team.
What You Bring
- Education & Experience
- Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or related field.
- 8 years experience in software design and development preferably in mobile.
- Strong background in Agile development and product lifecycle management.
- Technical Expertise
- Proficiency in Kotlin Java and the Android SDK.
- Experience with Android Jetpack libraries Retrofit OkHttp REST APIs and JSON.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines Git and automated build systems.
- Strong grasp of asynchronous programming concurrency and background task management.
- Familiarity with UI/UX tools (Figma Adobe XD Zeplin) and design best practices.
