Job Description
What will you do
Based in our brand new purpose-built laboratory your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing quality control (QC) testing on manufactured products
- Supporting product investigations and customer feedback processes
- Supporting calibrating laboratory equipment and ensuring quality standards
- Assisting in raw material evaluation and product development
- Maintaining a clean and safe laboratory environment
- Ensuring all tasks are undertaken safely and in a timely manner
- In addition some participation in site visits may be required.
You will be part of a collaborative and friendly team where your input is valued. While some tasks are routine youll have the chance to contribute to product development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications :
What you will bring
- Ideally several years laboratory experience in a materials field or similar discipline
- Preferably qualified to minimum of A level in chemistry and physics or to an equivalent standard
- Sound technical aptitude and analytical skills
- Well organised and methodical but with a creative and flexible approach
- Capable of working on own initiative as well as part of a team
- Computer literate with excellent verbal and written skills
- Full driving licence
