Job Summary
Are you a hands-on solutions-driven professional with a passion for creating efficient and welcoming workspaces Join our team as a Facility Officer in Penzance and play a key role in ensuring our office runs smoothly safely and sustainably.
Please note: To be considered for this role it is essential that you live within approximately 1 hours drive of the Penzance office. This ensures you can respond promptly to urgent issues and be present for day-to-day operations.
What Youll Do
As our Facility Officer youll be the go-to person for all things facilities-related at our Penzance office. Youll manage day-to-day operations support hybrid working needs and lead small local projects from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing essential services: security cleaning catering maintenance recycling and more.
- Acting as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for facility service requests (e.g. stationery meeting rooms catering).
- Managing third-party contractors and ensuring service quality.
- Supporting office changes relocations and fit-outs.
- Preparing and monitoring the offices operational budget (OPEX).
- Responding to urgent issues and ensuring a safe compliant environment.
- Collaborating with internal teams (HR IT H&S) and external partners (landlords service providers).

- Proven experience in Facility Management or a related field.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders with flexibility and professionalism.
- A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Understanding of hybrid working environments and space utilisation.
Your Scope
- Youll be responsible for the Penzance office and provide remote support to our site at the PyC Windfarm.
- While you wont manage direct reports youll steer contractors and project teams effectively.

Youll collaborate closely with:
- Local staff and visiting colleagues.
- Business Areas and Staff Functions (Human Resources IT Health & Safety).
- External partners including landlords building managers and service contractors.
