Our clients a welcoming family with two children aged 6 and 8 are seeking a flexible and experienced housekeeper to join them on a temporary basis at their beautiful four-storey home in Falfield Steadings Cupar Scotland. This six-month role arises due to the illness of the permanent housekeeper and offers the opportunity to work in a stunning rural location. Cupar a historic market town in Fife is renowned for its charming architecture scenic countryside and excellent community atmosphere. The property itself contains antique furniture requiring careful cleaning and attention. The family also has two friendly dogs so the ideal candidate will be both pet-friendly and child-friendly. As the role is in the countryside a confident driver with a valid licence is essential and a vehicle will be provided for occasional school runs and errands.
Working as a housekeeper in a private family environment requires attention to detail flexibility and the ability to maintain exceptionally high standards. Responsibilities will include the full upkeep of a large 7-bedroom family home daily cleaning laundry and occasional support with school drop-offs and pick-ups for the children. No cooking duties are required. Candidates must demonstrate specialist skills in cleaning and caring for antique furniture ensuring its preservation and presentation at all times. The role may be offered on a live-in or live-out basis; if live-in the successful professional will enjoy a private apartment within the property complete with separate entrance kitchen living room and bedroom.

Main duties of the Full-Time Housekeeper:
- Daily cleaning and upkeep of a large 7-bedroom four-storey property.
- Specialist cleaning and care of antique furniture and fine interiors.
- Laundry ironing and wardrobe management.
- Occasional school runs drop-offs and pick-ups for the children (vehicle provided).
- General tidying organisation and maintenance of household standards.
- Pet-friendly approach and ability to provide care for two dogs when required.
Requirements for this Full-Time Housekeeper job:
- Three or more years of private housekeeper experience
- Two excellent checkable references
- Conversational English
- UK working permit
- UK driving license
