North River Collaborative198 Spring StreetRockland MA 02370JOB POSTINGPOSITION/TITLE:Job Coach (Anticipated)PROGRAM/LOCATION:SAILS Program Bridgewater MASTART DATE:September 2 2025 (2026 Summer Hours TBD)LENGTH OF POSITION:Eleven month schedule full school-year (183 days) and summer hours (six weeks) as SCHEDULE:Job Coach Salary ScheduleQUALIFICATIONS: School and/or Bachelors Degree in Psychology Social Work or related field preferred but not experience with students or adults with special needs within a community or classroom to work with and supervise students in both classroom/instructional settings and in the to communicate effectively with a variety of people (vocational site employers students and parents) to attend Job Coach Massachusetts 7-D License (training available upon hire)8. Willingness to attend training/in-services with co-workersREPORTS TO: Program CoordinatorEVALUATION:Staff evaluation will be implemented as outlined in the North River Collaborative Personnel Policies and Procedures RESPONSIBILITIES: supervision of students to ensure their health and and assess students according to skills outlined on individual job performance sheets and their individualized education training and assistance to students during community outings and at job sites which may require assistance with lifting approximately 30-50 pounds. organized daily charts records and/or logs related to student behavioral plans as in task analysis of new jobs at to respond quickly and physically assist students during any emergency drills and actual Teacher and/or Program Coordinator with career interest in matching students with jobs based on interests and abilities through a person-centered planning and strengths-based employers with pertinent student Teacher and/or Program Coordinator with verbal and written feedback regarding student students or arrange for transportation for students to community sites or worksites if professional interactions with students and by policies as outlined in the North River Collaborative Personnel Policies and Procedures and participate in in-service training programs and/or specific job coach training as appropriate (i.e. 7D training CPR training CPI/Safety Care Training First Aid Training etc) in staff meetings as requiredC. DOCUMENTATION EVALUATION AND COMMUNICATIONAssist staff in maintaining student attendance records and other data as by program hours and other policies as outlined in the North RiverCollaborative Personnel Policies and Procedures Handbook.D. HEALTH AND SAFETYRespond to the needs of individual students so as to enhance theirsocial/emotional health and personal to situations in a culturally proficient manner taking into account awhole student training is able to apply de-escalation strategies if necessary to prevent astudent from harming themselves or to safely lift students up to 50 lbs independently and assist in lifting studentsup to 100 to physically assist students during activities such as: toileting personalhygiene in/out of adaptive equipment and mechanical lifts and other self-caretasks as to move with reasonable speed and physically assist students during anyemergency drills or actual to safely and effectively participate in restraint training and to safelyperform physical escort and restraints as needed once to safely and effectively participate in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation(CPR) training if requested and to safely perform CPR as needed once trained.E. ETHICALMaintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information professional attitudes and productive relationships with other staff parents and other professionals with constructively to feedback and goal oriented coaching.F. OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED BY THE PROGRAM COORDINATOR
