What does a successful Military Pathways Project Manager do

Whether youre transitioning from active duty to civilian life or currently serving in the National Guard or Reserve theMilitary Pathways Project Managerrole offers a unique opportunity to apply your military experience in a dynamic professional this role youll lead projects coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure the successful execution of tasksall central to overseeing project operations.

What you will do:

Coordinate project activities timelines and communications across internal teams and client stakeholders

Support planning documentation and tracking of project milestones risks and deliverables

Facilitate meetings manage follow-ups and maintain project dashboards and reporting tools

Assist with project governance issue escalation and third-party coordination

Contribute to both technical and non-technical projects depending on your experience and interests

Communicate progress clearly and consistently to ensure alignment and transparency

What you will need to have:

High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelors degree preferred

35 years of experience in project coordination operations or team leadership driving large scale projects in a matrixed environment

Ability to work after hours on-call or weekends as needed and travel up to 25%

Recently separated from military service or actively serving in the National Guard/Reserve component

What would be great to have:

Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project PowerPoint or Visio

Exposure to project management methodologies (e.g. Agile Waterfall)

Staff operations command department head senior enlisted advisor experience

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Interest in pursuing PMP certification

Experience or interest in banking financial services professional services and/or software industries

Strong written and verbal communication skills
